Anthony Ujah Breaks Mini Goal Drought In Style With Brace For Chinese Side


Former Werder Bremen striker Anthony Ujah ended a mini crisis in front of goal with a brace for his Chinese side Liaoning Whowin in their 3-0 victory over Yanbian Funde.


The 25 year old Nigerian fired blanks in the games against Guangzhou Evergrande and Beijing Guaon which his side lost 2-6 and 0-2 respectively.

Ujah provided the assist for James Chamanga to open scoring in the 13th minute before netting two minutes into time added on in the first half. He followed it up with a strike two minutes from full time with his second of the game and third for his side.

He now has has 5 goals in 11 games in the Chinese Super League since his move from German side Werder Bremen, where managed 11 goals in the only season he played at the club.
