Coach of English Premier League side Watford Walter Mazzari says the club helped 20 year old Nigerian forward Isacc Success to earn his first call up to the Nigeria senior national team.
A star for Nigeria at U-17 level, the Nigerian was handed his first call up to the Nigeria senior national team by new coach Gernot Rohr, ahead of Nigeria’s first World Cup qualifiers against Zambia in October.
Success a big money buy by Watford from Spanish La-Liga side Granada has been mostly used as a substitute by Mazzari but the coach reckons he has high hopes for the powerful forward.
The Hornets head coach said: “We’re very pleased for him. We think we helped for him to get a call-up from the national team.
He’s a very young player and if he follows our mentality at this club we think he’s going to have a very good future with this team and for his national team.”
