Prolific Nwakaeme Scores Second Brace In A Month For Israeli League Champions

Hapoel Beer Sheva Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme is having a fine run in front of goal for the Isreali champions after scoring a brace in their 3-0 success over Bnei Yehuda.

Two weeks ago the 27 year old scored a brace against Bnei Sakhnin in yet another 3-0 win prior to today’s game when he struck in the 45th and 69th minute.

The brace took his season tally to four goals from the first four games of the new season in Israel, where he scored 11 goals last season to lead Hapoel Beer Sheva to the league title.

He has earned a reputation for himself as a feared forward in the league, after scoring close to 30 goals in his three and half year stay in the league playing for two different clubs.

Nwakaeme came to Israel from Romanian side Cluj, joining Hapoel Ra’anana where he spent two seasons before his move to Hapoel Be’er Sheva just before the start of last season after scoring 18 goals from 55 games for Ra’anana.
