Hint Of Racism As Finnish Side SJK Sacks Nigerian Alongside Other Black Players

Top division Finnish side Seinajoen Jalkapallokerho populary referred to as SJK has done a major clear out which predominantly affected black players in the team.

High flying SJK who are presently placed 4th on the league table in Finland after 29 games with 49 points, released the players with no clear reason as to why they were been let out of the club.

Only Camerounian striker Ariel Ngueukam was retained while Nigerian defender Abonima Izoegbu, who has three appearances to his name with a goal as well was released alongside two other Africans.

Ivorian Abdoulaye Meite Ivorian and El-Hadju Gana Kane from Senegal was also released by the team, in a clear out that only affected black players which is now been viewed as a racially driven decision.

All efforts to get across to the released players and officials of the Finnish side proved abortive, but we will bring you update in the coming days.
