Kingsley Madu To Hit Eagles Camp With No Minute Of Football In Six Weeks

Kingsley Madu was once again an unused substitute for his new side Zulte-Waregem in their 1-1 draw against Sporting Chaleroi.

20 year old Madu is among the players called up by coach of the Nigeria national team Gernot Rohr for next weekend World Cup 2018 qualifiers against Zambia in Ndola.

He is expected to arrive the team camp on Monday from his base in Belgium, but the left full back will be short of match practice as the last time he played competitive football was six weeks ago.

Madu’s last involvement in a competitive game was for his former side AS Trencin against Zilina on the 28 of September, a game they lost 4-0 shortly before his move to Zulte-Waregem.

At Zulte Waregem, he has made the match day squad but he is yet to play a single game for his new side, leaving many to question his inclusion in the team, same as that of Musa Mohammed who plays for Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey.
