NFF Speaks On Legitimacy Of Injury To Watford Striker Isacc Success

The spokesman of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Toyin Ibitoye says the Nigeria Football Federation has no doubt about the legitimacy of the injury to 20 year old Watford forward Isacc Success.

Success ruled himself out of Nigeria’s trip to Ndola, where they defeated Zambia 2-1 to start their World Cup 2018 qualifiers on a sound note in group B, which also has Algeria and Cameroon.

Reports in some Nigeria media suggest that the 20 year old skipped the tie by feigning injury after he was told he will be responsible for his air ticket fare to Nigeria , where they were camped before the game.

However Ibitoye has rubbished speculations that he faked the injury and even reports of a ban from the national team, by stating that they had no doubts that he was truly injured.

“The news we got was that he [Success] got a dead leg in Watford’s last game, and asked to be excused from our World Cup qualifying game away to Ndola.
