Nigerians and fans of the Super Eagles have been told by the German coach of the team Gernot Rohr, that some fresh faces will be included in the list of players for the game against Algeria in Uyo.
As exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com three days ago, the manager has confirmed that about five new players will be called up for Nigeria’s next World Cup 2018 qualifiers game against Algeria.
The leaders of group B of the CAF World Cup 2018 qualifiers, will host group favourite Algeria in Uyo on the 12th of November, hoping to consolidate their 2-1 win away to Zambia in Ndola with another victory that will further enhance their of qualifying from the group.
In a bid to improve the squad, the coach has revealed he will call up around five new players to beef up the squad that defeated Zambia away from home to go top, after Algeria were held to a 1-1 draw by Cameroon.
” We will only call up players, who will add value to the team. To that extent around five new players will be in the team for the tie against Algeria. We need our best players to prosecute the qualifiers. The aim is to be in Russia” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.
