The Super Eagles of Nigeria won’t be altering the winning tactics that helped them beat Zambia 2-1 in Ndola in their first World Cup qualifiers, when they take on Algeria in Uyo next month.
The sparkling form of Victor Moses for English Premiership side Chelsea, have lead to talks about the forward coming into the team for the all important clash against Algeria in Uyo.
However, coach of the team Gernot Rohr has squashed such reports insisting that every player has to earn his spot in the team, and the players who prosecuted the first game away to Zambia are naturally sure to be starters.
” You don’t change a winning team unless you have a strong reason, for now we are not contemplating a change of style or team but we will call up new players for the game against Algeria” Coach of the team Gernot Rohr told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” However anything can happen during training for the game. As much as we want to keep the team against Zambia, we are also open to new players breaking into the team but they have to displace the team that started against Zambia”.
