EXCLUSIVE: Obaje Receives Russian Visa, Reveals Arrival Date For Spartak Moscow Trial


The top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League Godwin Obaje of Wikki Tourist has received his visa from the Russian Embassy ahead of his trials with Spartak Moscow.

Obaje who finished with 18 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League to emerge as top scorer was issued the visa today according to the player during an exclusive chat with Owngoalnigeria.com.
The six feet tall forward who is very good in the air and with both feet returned to Nigeria eight months ago, after his transfer to Slovakian side AS Trencin fell through due to contractual disagreement.

He rejoined Wikki Tourist, where his goals played a pivotal role in helping the Bauchi based side finished third on the table in the recently concluded Nigeria Professional Football League.

In the past six months, he has trained with the Nigeria U-23 and senior national team and made the bench for the World Cup 2018 qualifiers tie against Zambia which Nigeria won 2-1 away in Ndola.
