Iwobi’s Uncle Okocha Reveals How Arsenal Star Learnt Rainbow Flick Skill

Super Eagles legend Austin Okocha who also doubles as the uncle of Alex Iwobi has revealed how the 20 year old learnt the rainbow flick skill, he displayed during Nigeria’s 3-1 win over Algeria.

The World Cup 2018 qualifiers played in Uyo had Austin Okocha in attendance, and he was the cynosure of all eyes when his nephew pulled the skill he is well known for during his playing days.

While at Bolton Wanderers, Okocha grabbed the headline after using the rainbow flick to leave Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour in his wake at the corner flag.

Chants of Okocha rents the air after Iwobi replicated same skill and the former captain of Bolton Wanderers has spoken out about how his nephew learnt the skill.

“I didn’t teach him. Maybe he saw the one I did, but I’m sure he must have seen other players do it too. The boy is special and he is still developing. We are lucky to have him.”
