Kelechi Nwakali Has A Future At Arsenal – Wenger Assures Nigerian Loanee Turning Heads In Holland


The fine form of Arsenal loanee Kelechi Nwakali for his loan side MVV Maastricht will earn him a chance at Arsenal according to manager Arsene Wenger.

18 year old Nwakali was farmed sent out on loan by Arsenal to Dutch side MVV Maastricht, where he is expected to get regular playing time which will aid his development.

Nwakali has picked up two man of the match award for table topping Maastricht who are the early season favorite to gain promotion to the top division in Holland.

The Most Valuable Player at the last U-17 World Cup in Chile, where he captained Nigeria to glory could get his chance at Arsenal before the start of next season, particularly in pre season games.

” We are keeping a close watch on our players out on loan, they are all under watch. At the end of the season, we will decide which of them will join strengthen us”, Wenger said when speaking about the chances of Jack Wilshere at Arsenal ahead of this weekend game against the loan side of the English man Bournemouth.
