Nigeria Rio 2016 ace Imoh Ezekiel scored his second goal in four games as Qatari side Al Arabi hang on to pick a point from a 2-2 draw against Al Wakrah in a league tie in the oil rich nation.
The 23 year old who spent the second half of last season on loan to Belgian side Anderlecht after failing to settle down in Qatar following a big money move is slowly warming up to his new surroundings.
So far Ezekiel has two goals from 8 games even though his side are presently not having the best of season in the league following a poor run of form, that has seen them win just once from their last 8 games.
Ezekiel found the back of the net in the 78th minute to put his side 2-1 up but a late goal, seven minutes from time help Al Wakrah pick up a 2-2 draw, which keeps Al Arabi 11th while their host remain bottom after 9 games.
Presently out of favour with the Nigeria senior national team, he was called up by German manager Gernot Rohr for the dead rubber AFCON 2017 qualifiers tie against Tanzania but didn’t get to play.
