NIGERIAN PLAYERS WRAP – Brace For Ideye, Etebo Fires Blank, Ibe Shines, Akpoguma Booked, Olayinka On Target Again

Super Eagles forward Brown Ideye took his goals tally this season to nine just one short of his entire total for last season with just 10 games this season, after his brace in Olympiakos 4-0 win over Levadiakos.

Kelvin Akpoguma who is reportedly high on the wish list of Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is slowing earning himself a bad boy reputation, picking up his fifth booking of the season as Fortuna Dusseldorf grind out a 0-0 draw against Wuerzburger Kickers. He has also been sent off once.

Gent loanee Peter Olayinka scored for the second consecutive league game to take his season tally to four goals from 16 games, clearly working his way back to full fitness after missing the entirety of last season with an injury in his early days at Belgian side Gent.
