Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr will no doubt monitor the progress of ex Bayern Munich Nigerian teen prospect Chima Okoroji who has just made the step up to the B team of Augsburg.
Rohr is looking to bolster his option at left full back with Elderson Echiejile the only credible option in the role, no thanks to Kingsley Madu lack of game time at Belgian side Zulte-Waregem.
Although Okoroji might not be an instant solution, his progress could however be monitored especially if he makes his first team bow before the end of the season.
Already he has made the step up from the U-19s to the B team within a space of one year, with just one more step to the main team, he could make his debut anytime soon.
19 year old Okoroji joined Augsburg on a free transfer from Bayern Munich in January 2015 after three years at the Allianz Arena where he failed to make a professional appearance for the German giants.
