Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr arrived England yesterday to hold talks with Anglo-Nigerian players over committing their international future to Nigeria.
Rohr was with Wolverhampton Wanderers shot stopper Carl Ikeme yesterday to check up on the progress of the 30 year old, who only recently returned from an injury that made him miss Nigeria’s last game against Algeria.
The manager will meet with Sunderland forward Victor Anichebe later today over his plans for the power playing forward to return back to the team, he last played for in 2012.
However top of the manager’s menu will be talks with three England youth internationals over switching their international future to Nigeria.
Tammy Abrahams, Ola Aina and Jordon Ibe are all going to meet with the Nigeria manager, who will roll out his plans for them and that of the Super Eagles ahead the resumption of World Cup 2018 qualifiers.
