Failed CSKA Moscow target Henry Onyekuru scored his 8th goal of the season for Belgian new comers Eupen who were forced to a 2-2 draw by visiting Sporting Charleroi.
Onyekuru gave his side a 2-1 lead in the 55th minute of the game, but the goal took a big deflection that wrong footed the goalkeeper before nestling in the net.
The goal could be counted as an own goal in the long run but for now, it has taken his season tally to 8 in his debut season in the top flight league in Belgium. He has already surpass his last season goal total of 7 in the second division.
Aside the goal against Charleroi, he has found the back of the net against Sint Truiden, Lokeren, twice in two games against Westerlo, Club Brugge and Royal Excel Mouscron.
He also has five assists this season, a form which has made him one of the most sought after Nigerian teen player in Europe at the moment.
