The Super Eagles deputy left back was once again an unused substitute for Belgian high fliers Zulte-Waregem, who maintained their top spot with a 1-1 draw against Lokeren. Since joining the team in the summer from Slovakian side Trencin, he has only made two appearances, one in the league and one in the cup as well.

Mikel Agu ( Vitoria de Setubal, Portugal)

FC Porto loanee Mikel Agu was once again the catalyst in the middle for his loan side Vitoria Setubal. The 23 year old bossed the midfield for his team in their 2-0 win over Estoril in the Portuguese League.

So far he has made 10 appearances with two more appearances in the cup taking his total appearance to 12 for the season. His highest ever total in a top flight league in a single season.

Wilfred Ndidi ( Genk, Belgium)

Leicester City bound Ndidi showed why he is so highly rated and respected by football watchers, with a top class performance for Genk in their 2-0 win away to Italian side Sassuolo in the Europa League.

He was top among all players in terms of tackles with a success rate of 92%, little wonder Alex Mcleish said he is a prototype of Chelsea star N’golo Kante. He will surely be missed when he moved to Leicester City in January.

Ogenyi Onazi ( Trabzonspor, Turkey)

The former Lazio man put up a performance to remember, by far his best since joining the Turkish side in January. He covered almost every blade of the pitch for his team as they got back to winning ways with a 4-1 win over 10 man Adanaspor.

Onazi who have been in and out of the starting line up, was at his best in breaking up the opposition play and initiating attacks for his team, in what was his 13th game with two goals already to his name this season.

Kevin Akpoguma ( Fortuna Dusseldorf, Germany)

Another week and another booking for the 21 year old German Nigerian, who has earned a bad boy reputation in the 2. Bundesliga, no thanks to the rate at which he is picking up caution.

He has already been sent off this season and yesterday as his team crumbled to a 0-2 loss to Nuremburg. He was yellow carded in the 72nd minute. His sixth for the season.

Uche Agbo (Granada, Spain)

Super Eagles fringe star Uche Agbo maintained his spot in the starting line up of Spanish side Granada, and lasted an hour in their 1-1 draw against Malaga, he however picked up a booking in the 48th minute before leaving the pitch.

The Watford loanee has been one of the stand out performers for La-Liga strugglers Granada with 13 appearances to his name from a possible 15 for the 19th placed Spanish side.
