The impending transfer of German forward Julian Draxler to French giants PSG won’t be hard felt by German side Wolfsburg according to a journalist based in the region.
Dietar Jones who resides in the area and covers the affair of Wolfsburg for various media houses told Owngoalnigeria.com in a chat that Draxler will bring in good money for the club, who are not under pressure to buy a replacement, thanks to the presence of Nigerian teen Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen will turn 18 on the 29th of December, and Jones believes as soon as he become eligible he will be fast tracked into the first team who are short of options in attack following the departure of Andre Schurrle in the summer and now Draxler.
” Osimhen is rated highly by the coaches of Wolfsburg, he will be more of a quick fix for Draxler, it could take him time to adapt, let say three months or less, but the coaches have seen a lot in him already to justify his price tag”, Jones told Owngoalnigeria.com
” Already Osimhen has trained with the first team on several occasion and even in unofficial test games, and his performances from what I gathered has given the coaches hope that he will fit into the team with ease”.
