Former coach of Chelsea Ray Wilkins says Chelsea will find it hard to replace Victor Moses if the Nigerian picks an injury or suspension during the course of the season.

The Blues have copped very well in the absence of N’golo Kante and top scorer Diego Costa but Wilkins believes if Moses goes off the team, they will find it hard to replace him.

Moses has reinvented himself as a wing back for the Antonio Conte table toppers, and has been ever present since the team switched to the 3-4-3 system that has helped them win 12 consecutive games.

” Easy to play down the importance of Victor Moses but when you look around the squad, he is one player who appears not to have a replacement in the team at the moment”, he said.

” Diego Costa and N’golo Kante are players you think they can’t replace but in the squad they have players who play similar role as them, so easy to replace them unlike Moses”.
