Father of Nigeria U-17 ace Kingsley Michael has revealed he met with representative of Manchester City over the transfer of his son, who is set to join Serie A side Bologna.
The skillful mifielder did his career a whole lot of good at the last U-17 World Youth Championship in Chile, putting up a five star performance as Nigeria romped to the title in style.
He was also a part of the Nigeria U-20 team that failed to qualify for next year Africa Youth Championship, however in absence in the final qualifiers game against Sudan has been fingered as part of the reasons why Nigeria failed to progress for the championship.
Dogo Michael who is a military personell serving in Nigeria told Owngoalnigeria.com in a chat in Kaduna, that he met with a representative of Leicester City last year of his son.
” I met with the representative of Manchester City, we talked about my son moving over to the team, but you know a bird in hand is worth two in the bush”, apparently referring to the Bologna’s deal.
