Junior Ajayi Strike Seals Victory For Al-Ahly Over Rivals Zamalek In Cairo Derby

Fit Again Nigeria Olympic forward Junior Ajayi was once again on target for his Egyptian side Al-Ahly in their 2-0 win over Zamalek in the Cairo derby.

The match largely regarded as the biggest league game in Egyptian football started on a sound note for Al-Ahly when former Zamalek man Moamen Zakaria gave them the lead in the 22nd minute.

Al-Ahly dominated the game but failed to add to their tally in the first 45 minutes, no thanks to some wayward finish by the front men of the table toppers in Egypt.

Big money buy Junior Ajayi who only recently returned back from a knock sustained in their previous game was introduced as a substitute in the 85th minute.

Four minutes later, the former Shooting stars forward proved his money worth with his team second goal in the 89th minute to seal a comfortable win for his side.
