Out of favour Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi has once again suffered another injury after limping off the pitch in Torino’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta.
Obi has already suffered two injuries this season, and he only recently just returned from another before limping off after 30 minutes after suffering a set back.
Injuries hampered his progress in Inter Milan, and finally made the Milan giants released him to join Torino before the start of last season for a nominal transfer fee.
Meanwhile Nigeria Rio 2016 ace Sadiq Umar returned from a two months injury for his loan side Bologna but was an unused substitute, same as his Nigerian colleague Orji Okonkwo as nine man Bologna drew 1-1 at Cagliari.
Just like the duo of Sadiq and Orji, Simmy Nwankwo was also not needed by Crotone in their 4-1 win over Empoli. The summer signing watched the entire proceeding from the bench.
