English Premier League giants Manchester City are reportedly still interested in the services of 21 year old Nigerian midfielder Bruno Ibeh, who plays for Uruguayan Primera Division side Nacional.
Ibeh who is on a season long loan to second division side Torque was spotted by some scouts from Manchester City, who in turn recommended him to Nacional in January 2015.
Nacional tested him and decided to sign him, and moved him straight to their reserves, but a torn meniscus deny him the chance to be actively involved in the team, who were crowned champions of the Reserve Championship ahead of River Plate.
The scouts from Manchester City who were pivotal in his move to Uruguay are still in contact with Ibeh, who could be offered a trial chance with the team in the nearest future.
Born in Owerri, South Eastern Nigeria, he stands out with an intimidating physique and has very good handling of the ball as well as crisp, neat passes especially in tight spaces.
