John Obi Mikel is stepping up his preparation for his Chinese Super League debut.
The Nigerian appears to have settled in with his Tianjin TEDA teammates having penned a three-year, £140,000-per-week deal.
Mikel is Tianjin’s star signing and moves after 10 years with Chelsea to boost manager Jaime Pacheco’s side, and the 29-year-old is talking up the level of his and the rest of the league’s coaches.

“I do not think there’s a lot of difference in the level of coaches now,” Mikel told NetEase Sports .
Pacheco is a high-level coach and he was a very good player [for Porto and Portugal].
“Training is done very well, with a very high level.”
