The draws for the round of 16 in the Europa League has been made and the Gent, home to four Nigerian players have been drawn against Genk.
The game between Gent and Genk will be a local derby as both teams are based in Belgium, more importantly for Nigerians is the fact that as many as four Nigerians could take part in the clash.
Anderson Esiti, Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu have all played for Gent in the Europa League this season, but Rabiu Ibrahim is yet to hit full fitness hence his lack of action in the tournament while William Troost-Ekong wasn’t registered by the club.
