According to various reports monitored by online editor, manager of Leicester City Claudio Ranieri was fired by the club for playing Ahmed Musa ahead of Demarai Gray in their UEFA champions League game on Tuesday.

The decision to sack Ranieri came as a surprise to many but club sources revealed he was fired after the game against Sevilla, due to his team selection for the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash.

The story which has gone viral in various news outlet in the United Kingdom, has it that Ranieri decision to hand Musa a start ahead of Gray didn’t go down well with the decision makers at the club, particularly after Musa’s poor performance which lead to his substitution.

Gray who took the place of the Nigerian, put in a better shift than the big money buy from Russian side CSKA Moscow. He added spark to the attack which lead to the away goal which they scored in the 1-2 loss.
