Rohr Addresses Eagles Players On Why China Based Eagles Were Excused From Friendly Games


The none inclusion of the China based Super Eagles trio of Brown Ideye, Mikel Obi and Odion Ighalo have been communicated to players of the Super Eagles by coach of the team Gernot Rohr.

The trio were left out of the squad for the upcoming friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso which will take place in London on the 23rd and 27th of March at Barnet’s stadium mostly referred to as The Hive.

There has been speculations about the reason behind their exclusion from the squad but Rohr lifted the lid on the reasons behind their absence, in a chat with the players monitored by correspondent in London reports that Rohr confirmed our story on the reason behind their exclusion, saying they were not included because he wants them to settle down at their new team and environment.

He further revealed to the players that they will however be included in the team for future games, if they maintain their form for their respective Chinese teams.
