FC Porto are on the verge of losing highly rated Nigerian midfielder Mustapha Buba as Pacos Ferreira have table a bid for the 18 year old.
Buba has been on trial with the Portuguese giants, and despite Porto signalling their interest and initiating talks over his transfer, but talks have stalled due to Porto’s lackadaisical attitude during talks.
Porto want him to play on loan for a year before committing themselves financially, a proposal which FC Hearts, owners of the right of Buba have flatly rejected.
Their rejection triggered Paco de Ferreira who have moved swiftly to offer FC Hearts professional terms, and are also willing to pay some amount as transfer fee.
” I can’t for now tell you if he will end up at FC Porto, talks have been very slow and we are currently considering an offer from Pacos Ferreira, although he is still with Porto”, His intermediary told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” The Sporting Director of Pacos is very keen on Buba. We will see what will happen in the coming days, but for now any move to Porto is hanging in the balance”.
