Portuguese giants FC Porto have set a date for a decision on the fate of Nigerian trailist Mustapha Buba, who has been with the club for over a month.
Buba has been training with the U19s of the Portuguese side, but a decision on his fate has been severally deferred as the club want to sort out the issues of players who will be released in the summer.
May 3rd was therefore set as the day a decision will be reached on his possible signing or not. Although he has impressed the technical crew of the team, the Kaduna born midfield maestro will only be signed if there’s a vacuum in the midfield.
Even if FC Porto opt against signing the 18 year old, he won’t be short of suitors as Pacos Ferreira and SC Braga are reportedly waiting for Porto to make a decision before deciding their next line of action.
The FC Heart prospect, will most likely become the seventh Nigerian on the payroll of the club, as they already have Mikel Agu, Chidozie Awaziem, Musa Yahaya, Fidelis Irhene, Chidera Ezeh and Moses John in their ranks.
