Manchester City Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho will leave the club at the end of the season according to his adviser Olumide Oluwo.
Despite his near perfect goal scoring record, I Iheanacho has failed to convince manager Pep Guardiola , who took over from Manuel Pelligrini in the summer that he deserves a spot in the team.
Oluwo believes the coach didn’t give the forward enough opportunities to prove himself, as he preferred Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus since his signing in January.
When pressed over possible destination of his client, who as exclusively reported by this portal has been granted permission to speak with German club Hoffeinheim, Oluwo confirmed there are clubs in Germany interested in Iheanacho.
Two teams in Germany Borrusia Dortmund and Hoffeinheim have been linked with the forward, but the interest from Dortmund has gone quiet with Hoffeinheim firmly in the driving seat in the race to sign the Nigeria international.
