Hot in demand KAS Eupen Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru scored twice to help Eupen come from behind and secure a 3-2 win over Kotrijk in the Belgium play offs.
19 year old Onyekuru put his side ahead for the first time in the game via the spot after he was felled in the box in the 32nd minutes of play. He added another ten minutes from full time to put his team 3-1 up.
The brace took his goals count for the season to 22, one short of Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe Olarewaju Kayode of Austria Wien who has 23 goals this season.
Linked with a possible move to Everton in the summer, the Aspire Academy graduate has also courted interest from Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Brom.
However his goal scoring exploit is yet to gain the attention of Nigeria national team handlers who are yet to consider him for a call up to the senior team despite his exploit in his debut season.
