Super Eagles teen wonder Victor Osimhen made his Bundesliga bow for German side Wolfsburg in their 1-1 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach as the league in Germany draws to a close.

Osimhen was introduced by coach Andries Jonker in the 59th minute for Daniel Didavi and ‎came close to scoring with a header in the 83rd minute which was save by the goalkeeper in the game interrupted by heavy rainfall.

Overall he looked lively all through but got booked in the 89th minute for a tactical foul on Nico Schulz, after tripping the forward who was bursting towards the goal end of Wolfsburg.

Known for his pace, tricks and goal scoring abilities, the forward operated from the left side of Borussia Monchengladbach attack as top striker Mario Gomez retained his position as point man.

He will be hoping to get into the team once again in their final game of the season next weekend when they take on Hamburg in what is billed as a relegation battle with both side separated by one spot in 15th and 16th position, although Wolfsburg hold a two point lead.
