Highly rated German-Nigerian left back Jordan Torunarigha has for the main time pledged his international future to Germany ahead of Nigeria.

Torunarigha is son of former Nigeria youth and Shooting Stars forward Ojokojo Torunarigha, and despite representing Germany at youth level, he was heavily linked with a switch of allegiance to Nigeria.

He reportedly had talks with coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr, but the Hertha Berlin rising star who scored his first senior goal yesterday in their 2-0 win over Darmstadt in the Bundesliga will later today join the German U20 team.

Although he will still qualify to represent Nigeria even if he plays for Germany at the World Youth Championship in Korea, but they are feelers that he could be granted rapid promotion to the senior team if he maintains his progress at Hertha Berlin.
