Highly rated Nigerian forward Theophilus Solomon has confirmed interest in his services from Dutch side Roda JC and Belgian outfit Lokeren.
On loan to newly promoted top division side Istra, Solomon has scored seven goal this season with four assists to his name in what is his first full season in the Croatian top flight, after an injury blighted time with Zadar two seasons ago.
Despite his fine form he has ruled out a return to Rijeka, who are on the verge of winning the league and securing qualification for the Champions League, and has confirmed his desire to leave Croatia after three years.
In an exclusive chat with Owngoalnigeria.com, the 21 year old who was listed in the team of the year in Croatia confirmed he has been told of the interest of Lokeren and Roda by his agent as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com.
” I was told by my agent after reading the story on your site, but my mind is focused on ending the season on a high note with Istra. It’s my first full season so I want to end it on a high”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” My next destination will not be Rijeka that am sure about, after my loan spell I will speak with the club about my intentions. I have said it before and I am still saying it, I want to leave Croatia “.
