The former coach of Enugu Rangers, the reigning champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League Imama Amapakabo has been axed from the travelling party to France for the friendly against Corsica.

Imama was suppose to travel with some players invited for the game this night for France, but last night he got a call from the secretary of the team informing him of his none inclusion in the travelling party.

The coach is one of the two local coaches assisting Franco-German coach of the team Gernot Rohr alongside Salisu Yusuf, who will make the trip to France for the friendly games against Corsica and Togo.

It has been a very tough three months for the coach who was sacked at Rangers after helping them to their first league title in 32 years.
