Super Eagles Dutch-Nigerian defender Tyronne Ebuehi who plays for Dutch side ADO Den Haag has revealed the reason why he choose to play for Nigeria instead of the Netherlands, where he was born.
Ebuehi made his senior international debut for Nigeria against Togo in a friendly game earlier this month, and the 21 year year old could make his competitive debut against South Africa this weekend.
He is presently among the 21 players in the camp of the Super eagles preparing for the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers in against South Africa in Uyo on Saturday
In an interview on the official website of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ebuehi revealed fellow Dutch-Nigerian defender William Troost-Ekong convinced him to switch allegiance to the Super Eagles.
He further said he believes playing for Nigeria will enhance his club career as an international player, and he is looking forward to nothing but victory over South Africa on Saturday.
