Belgium top league side Gent are facing a battle to hold on to their Nigerian defensive midfielder Anderson Esiti who only joined the club last summer from Portuguese side Estoril.

French giants PSG were the first club to sound out the 23 year old, a move which the power playing forward confirm to this portal that he is aware of, but it appears interest have also come in from elsewhere.

According to Fussball Transfers German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and VFB Stuttgart have also inquired about Esiti from Gent who are willing to do business if their asking price of over 10 million euros is met by interested clubs.

Last season Esiti had an impressive campaign with 37 games to his name, and made his presence felt using his physical attributes and strength to good effect in domestic and European games.

The one major drawback to his game still remains his inability to score goals, but his contribution elsewhere especially in the defensive area of the team has earned him rare reviews.
