Rabiu Ibrahim Dazzles In Kaduna Showpiece Game, Keen To Force His Way Into Rohr’s Plan

Gent of Belgium midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim stole the show yesterday in a charity game played in Kaduna organised by his Gent teammate and Super Eagles ‎forward Moses Simon.

Ibrahim kept the crowd alive with sublime skills, tricks and flicks which drew roar whenever he execute them. His cross field passes also drew applause as they were accurate and well weighted.

After the game the 25 year old told Owngoalnigeria.com that he is looking forward to a strong season with Gent to force his way back into international reckoning before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

” I didn’t have a good season with Gent I must confess, but I will hopefully make up for it next season after overcoming the fitness issues that slowed me down. As a Nigerian my aim is to return to the national team before the 2018 World Cup in Russia “, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.

The game witnessed top stars like Moses Simon, Zulte-Waregem of Belgium Kingsley Madu, AS Roma duo of Nura Abdullahi and Sadiq Umar, with Al Qaidisiyiah Friday Eze also featuring.
Other foreign based players who took part in the game includes Musa Yahaya of FC Porto, Suleiman Abdullahi of Eintracht Braunschweig and Belgium bound Lukman Zakari.
