Victor Anichebe Joins Chinese Side Beijing Enterprises, Becomes Strike Partner To Leke James

Former Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe has left relegated English Premier League side Sunderland for Chinese second division side Beijing Enterprises.

Anichebe penned a one year deal with the second division Chinese League side where late Ivorian star Cheick Tiote used to play before the unfortunate slump ‎during training which claimed his life.

The former Everton forward will partner Nigerian striker Leke James in attack as Beijing Enterprises aim to gain promotion to the top flight of Chinese Football after narrowly missing out last time out.

Sunderland didn’t retain the Nigerian following their relegation to the English Championship, hence he joined the Chinese side as a free agent, and he will be hoping he brush aside the injury demons that have slowed down his career in the past.
