Owngoalnigeria.com have confirmed from sources close to the Belgian negotiator appointed by Eupen to broker the transfer of Henry Onyekuru that the striker will sign a five year deal with Everton.
Mogi Bayat will arrive Everton today to seal the deal for Eupen, a deal which will cost Everton 7 million pounds and not 8 million pounds as widely reported.
According to a Mercato Sport representative Onyekuru will earn 37, 000 pounds a week and not 40,000 pounds a week as reported by some sites in Nigeria.
During the course of his one year deal with Anderlecht , the Belgium side will pay 40% of his wages with Everton having the option of terminating the loan deal or recalling him in January.
The options of recall will be invoked if before January he qualifies for a work permit, which looks unlikely for now, meaning he needs a strong showing in the UEFA Champions League with Anderlecht to push his case.
