Former Nigeria youth international Kingsley Sokari has agreed a move to fellow Tunisian side Club Africain from Sfaxien, owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Sokari has been at Sfaxien for three seasons but the 22 year old will end his romance with the team in few weeks time to join their rivals Club Africain for a fee believed to be in the region of over 500, 000 dollars.
His agent Mahmoud Ouaddeni confirmed his client will leave Sfaxien for after their game against MC Algiers in the CAF Championship for Club Africain after both a fee was agreed for his transfer.
He also confirmed reports about interest in the services of his client from Saudi Arabia side Al Shabab but said the midfielder turned it down to remain in Tunisia where is fully settled.
Al Shabab were reportedly willing to pay him almost twice as much as what he is set to earn at Club Africain, but according to Ouaddeni the decision to remain in Tunisia was taken in the interest of the career of the player.
