Man City Iheanacho Few Details Away From Joining Leicester City For £25m, Forcing West Ham To Switch To Other Targets

West ham have ended their interest in Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho leaving Leicester City all in the clear to sign the forward before the end of the ongoinv summer transfer window, can exclusively reveal.

West Ham expressed an interest, but sources close to the player revealed they have ended their interest in the forward as they fail to reach an agreement with City on various aspect of the deal particularly the issue of buy back clause.

That has cleared the path for Leicester to land the 20-year-old, and they are in advanced talks with Manchester City over a £25 million deal, which could be wrapped as early as next week, as Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare is keen to strengthen his attacking options this summer and he sees Iheanacho as an ideal partner for Jamie Vardy.

Iheanacho would become the third signing of the manager who has already secured Hull City’s Harry Maguire and Sevilla’s Vincent Iborra, above all he will be hoping the forward replicate the form that saw him score 21 goals in 64 appearances with many of them coming off the bench.
