Sources close to Super Eagles forward Moses Simon have confirmed a fresh bid is expected for his services by English Premier League side Brighton after Gent refused their opening offer.
Simon is one of the main target of the English Premier League new boys, but Gent are demanding a fee in the region of 15 million euros, a price the Premier League side failed to match when they submitted their first bid for the 22 year old.
Brighton will according to Simon’s close pal in Kaduna renew their bid to sign him this summer as they are preparing another bid for him in the coming days.
” It’s not over yet from what I heard. Brighton initial bid was rejected but that isn’t much of a problem as they are expected to make renewed effort to sign him”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” He (Simon) has two years to run on his deal with Gent, which means after this season he will have just 12 months left on his deal which leaves them with little or no chance to turn down offers as he could leave on a free”.
