Super Eagles midfielder Henry Agbo has joined Belgian side Standard Liege on a season long loan deal from English Premier League side Watford.
Agbo joined Watford last season, but was immediately loaned out to Spanish La-Liga side Granada where he has spent the last four years of his career since moving to Europe.
His move to Standard Lige according to a statement on the website of the club is subject to the 21 year old passing his medicals with the club, which is scheduled to take place today.
Coach of Standard Liege Oliveir Renard praised his acquisition and went further to outline some of the qualities that the club saw in him last season at Granada that made them swoop on him.
” Uche is a young midfielder with a high rate of passing and a strong abilities in recovery. He played a very pivotal role in the La-Liga last season for Granada. He is ready for a new experience and he will boost our options in midfield “. He said.
