Everton Loanee Henry Onyekuru Opens Goal Account For Anderlecht In Debut Game Against Lierse

‎Henry Onyekuru wasted no time in opening his goal account for his loan side Anderlecht in his first game for the team in their 2-0 win over Belgium side Lierse SK in a pre season friendly.

Onyekuru who joined Anderlecht on a season loan deal from English Premier League side Everton was introduced as part of the second half substitutes of the Belgian side, and the forward showed why he is so highly rated in Belgium.

The forward who scored 24 goals for modest side KAS Eupen last season put the game beyond the reach of Lierse with the second goal for his team three minutes from full time.

Known for his pace, dribbling abilities and calmness in the box, the Anderlecht number 9 got a standing ovation from the spectators after his goal, which has set him on the path towards proving his showing last season wasn’t a one off.
