Chelsea wing back Victor Moses picked up from where he left off last season by posting a strong performance for the team in their first pre season game which ended 8-2 in their favour against Fulham.
Moses was handed a start by coach Antonio Conte, a sign of how well he has recovered from the toe surgery he had during the off season, and the wing back put in a commendable shift for the 45 minutes he was on the pitch.
He combined nicely with Brazilian star Willian who scored a hat trick in the first half, and his first of the day would have come from a delightful through ball by Moses but his effort sailed wide.
Coach Antonio Conte changed the entire team that started the first half in the second half, but the team were able to build on their healthy 5-1 lead at the break, and comfortably added three more to win 8-2.
Anglo-Nigerian defender Fikayo Tomori was among the players who were introduced in the second half by Conte. Smarting from winning the U20 World Youth Championship with England he is hoping to be a main stay in the first team.
