Turkish top league side Bursaspor continued their build up to the start of the Super Lig in Turkey with a convincing 3-0 win over Leeds United in a pre season friendly played at their camp in Austria.
English Championship side Leeds United were no match for the Turkish side with Nigeria defender William Troost-Ekong putting the Turks ahead after just 13 minute into the game.
Ekong’s goal set the pace for a convincing win for Bursaspor as they ran out 3-0 winners with further goals from Tomas Necid and Sinan Bakis in the second half completing the rout.
The Nigerian who only recently joined the team from Belgium side Gent started the game, but just like the rest of his team-mates had to make way for another set of eleven players who were introduced by coach Paul Le Guen in the second half.
Overall Troost-Ekong had a very good game for the 45 minute he was on the pitch, a sign of how well he has integrated into the surroundings of his new team despite joining them few weeks ago.
