On loan Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham proved his potency in front of goal scoring on his debut for Swansea City to power them to a 2-1 win over Richmond Kickers in a pre season game played in the United State Of America.
Signed on a season long loan deal from the Premier League champions after a stellar performance while on loan in the English Championship last season , Abraham came on for his debut a minute after the hour mark.
He immediately got on the act, but after having his first effort well saved by the goalkeeper three minutes after his introduction, he made amends with a goal in the 80th minutes for his side.
Abraham scored what ended as the winner by heading home a neat cross from Martin Olsson to further prove that his goal scoring heroics last season while on loan to Championship side Bristol City is no fluke.
Already Nigeria and England are tussling for his international future, although he has represented England at various youth levels, he is still eligible for Nigeria at senior level and coach of the Nigerian team have instructed the football federation to push for his commitment.
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick said last year that his relationship with the father of the 19 year old will no doubt enhance the chances of Nigeria snatching him from England.
