Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo has been dropped by coach Antonio Conte from the squad that will go on a training tour to the US, and he was also missing for the U23s in their pre season friendly.
Omeruo captained the U23s in their previous game, but this time around he was conspicuously missing from the team as they battle to a 2-1 win over Aldershot.
Although it appears the 23 year old who has been on loan since signing for Chelsea in 2012 is nursing a slight injury as he lasted just over 70 minutes in his last game for the Blues U23.
A move away from Chelsea looks imminent as the defender isn’t in the plans of coach Antonio Conte, and already teams from Turkey have sounded him out but Chelsea apparently wants 7 million euros as his transfer fee.
In the coming days his destination will no doubt become clearer, but from all indications a move back to Turkey where he has spent the last two season on loan to Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor respectively is a possibility.
