Iheanacho Could Make His Debut For Leicester City on Wednesday Against Luton – Shakespeare Suggest

Manager of Leicester City Craig Shakespeare has somehow suggested that incoming Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho could make his bow for the team next week Wednesday.

Speaking after their 1-2 loss to Liverpool in the Premier League Asia Trophy in Hong Kong, the coach revealed the next phase of their preparations ahead of the start of the next English Premier League season in three weeks time.

” We go back to England, where we will play against Luton on Wednesday. Hopefully we would have added some players to the squad. Who are most likely going to play in the game or our next game on Friday “, he ‎said.

Although Shakespeare didn’t mention the name of the players they are after, feelers have it that the player will most likely be Manchester City 20 year old Nigerian striker.

For now Kelechi Iheanacho is the one player the club are close to signing with Vice-Chairman ‎Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha confirming the transfer as good as done earlier today.
